Kieran Duffty notched a hat-trick while there was a goal on return to injury for Kyle MacDonald as our Reserves Team clocked up a 5-0 friendly win at Inverness Athletic last night.

With the two teams having played each other twice in the North Caledonian League already this season, this friendly was put in place to allow both sets of players to get up to speed again following the festive break ahead of the return to league action on Saturday.

Scott Davidson, Cameron Lisle and Lewis Mitchell also got more vital minutes under their belts having been on the bench the day before in the First Team win at Clachnacuddin, with Davidson the fifth of our goal scorers..

Duffty put us in front before he won a penalty which was converted by Davidson for 2-0.

Duffty then added his second of the night before the interval with MacDonald getting in on the act after coming on as a half-time substitute before Duffty completed his treble to round off the scoring.

The Reserves return to North Caledonian League action on Saturday away at Halkirk United.

Nairn County Reserves – Trialist (Reid Peterkin 46), Cameron Lisle (Scott Stewart 60), Kieran Munro, Scott Mutch, Liam Balfour, Robbie Lean (Murray Wilson 60), Tyler Eadie, Lewis Mitchell, Kieran Duffty, Scott Davidson (Kyle MacDonald 46), Ryan Moodie.
