Local midfielder Tyler Eadie has agreed a new contract with us to the summer of 2027.
The 23-year-old is a product of our youth development programme and forced his way into Manager Ross Tokely’s matchday plans with his efforts this season.
Ross said: “Tyler is a versatile player who can cover a number of positions for us. He grew up as a winger and we have also used him a right back a couple of times and he can play in the middle of the park as well.
“He has a bit of pace, he is strong and he is really hard working. He sticks to his task during a game and he is not afraid to do the hard yards for the team.
“We will continue to work with Tyler to help improve the aspects of his game that need worked on but as a coaching team, we are quite happy to put in that effort with someone like Tyler because he takes onboard what you say to him and you can see he wants to improve.
“We are pleased to have Tyler signed up for another couple of seasons and hopefully having that security can act as a springboard for him to take his game up a level.”
After playing in our Under-15s, Under-17s, Under-20s and Reserves Teams, Tyler made his debut in the 3-1 win at Turriff United on April 15th 2023 and kept his place in the team for the 3-2 win at Deveronvale on the final day of the season the following week.
He scored in the pre-season match away at Stornoway in July 2023 and made eight appearances last season, picking up a North of Scotland Cup winners medal.
Tyler then spent the second half of last season on loan at Nairn St Ninian before a loan spell at Strathspey Thistle at the start of this season before going on to make seven appearances for us so far during this campaign.
