Nairn County can confirm the following players will leave at the end of their current contracts this summer: Andrew Colliar (under-20s) Josh Millard (under-20s) Struan Tweedie (under-20s) Aidan Stewart (under-20s) Harry Barron (under-17s) Jordan Edwards (under-17s) Matthew Johnstone (under-17s) Ryan Knox (under-17s) Sean Macleod (under-17s) Cameron Murray (under-17s) Under-20s Head Coach Stuart Finnie said: "We would like to wish all of these players well for the future and thank them for their efforts while at the club." "It is always difficult at this time of year to release boys. I have been there myself when I was that age and it is not a nice feeling. But it is unfair on the players to keep them on if they are not going to play – it is better for them to go elsewhere and play regular football rather than staying with us and not being involved." "We have said to Harry Barron and Aidan Stewart on that list to come to train with us as they have plans to move away to university but if their circumstances were different, we would definitely be keeping them both on." "Cameron Murray has also been unlucky as he was on verge of coming up to the under-20s last season before suffering a serious injury and once he is back fit again we will happily welcome him along to training to take a look at him." He added: "We are going to have 26 players coming to pre-season, which is far too many for a squad for next season, so there will be further cuts. We have spoken individually to everyone from last season's under-20s squad and those moving up from the under-17s and told them all what we expect from them. It is now down to them to come back to pre-season next month and prove them are worth a place in the squad." Graeme Macleod
