The club is delighted to have received brand new first team travel wear courtesy of Nairn-based project services company, Sidecrystal. The new Joma branded gear was handed over by Karen Stewart on behalf of Sidecrystal prior to last night's home match against Formartine United. Sidecrystal has also decided to forego displaying their branding on the tracksuits as part of the sponsorship deal with the club and instead the Highland Hospice logo is printed on the back of the tops. Gordy Stewart, Director of Sidecrystal, said: "We are delighted that Nairn County has taken up this offer – we believe that in promoting the Highland Hospice it will initially help in a small way but hopefully also help to stimulate their fundraising efforts across the Highlands." Nairn County chairman Donald Matheson said: "The club is humbled to have received this generous contribution from Sidecrystal. We are obviously absolutely delighted to display the Highland Hospice logo on the back of the players' tracksuit as well." "It goes without saying that the Hospice does a tremendous amount of fantastic work in the local community and if we can help them in any way then everyone at the club is fully behind that." "The feedback from the players is that the tracksuits are extremely comfortable, so hopefully that will help them to be fully prepared on a match day to go out and be successful on the pitch." Carrie MacIntyre, Regional Fundraiser at the Highland Hospice, said: "The Hospice are extremely grateful for the donation made to us in conjunction with the sponsorship of Nairn County FC tracksuits." "Displaying our logo on the team's tracksuits will help us to raise awareness of the amazing services that the Hospice offers. We have a local Hospice shop in Nairn and the town has hosted some fantastic fundraisers for us, so we are really pleased to be affiliated with the club, which is a big part of the local community." Highland Hospice is the only hospice serving adults with incurable life limiting disease in the Highlands of Scotland and are acknowledged as a resource of specialist palliative care expertise in the region.
