NAIRN County have agreed to make midfielder Ross Naismith available for transfer. The ex-Ross County player is in his seventh season at the club but has only managed 13 appearances so far this campaign, scoring in the home win over Lossiemouth in August and a double in the 2-1 victory away at Turriff United the same month. Manager Ronnie Sharp said: “Ross came to us this week and asked to go on the transfer list as he would like a fresh challenge and we are happy to let him do that. He has been a good servant to the club in my time here and before that as well. He has been in and out of the team this season for one reason or another but I am sure he will be a valuable player for whichever club he moves to.” The 24-year-old joined Nairn on loan from Ross County in March 2012, returning to Station Park permanently that summer. He enjoyed his most productive season last year making more starts than his previous five campaigns at the club added together with a total of 34 appearances – 26 of them from the start – as well as weighing in with seven goals, which is also a personal best return for a season in his Nairn career.
