HOSTS Nairn County will be looking for a reaction to Saturday’s disappointing showing at Fraserburgh as they succumbed to a heavy defeat at Bellslea despite taking an early lead. Once the Broch went in front shortly before half-time, the County roof caved in with another two goals added in a short space of time before the break the end the home side in 4-1 up at the interval just when the match appeared to be heading for a half-time stalemate at one goal apiece. The home side will be looking to bounce back from that against a Rothes side who beat them twice last season and ended a recent three-match run of defeats by seeing off Lossiemouth at MacKessack Park on Saturday. With vital players now returning from injury, manager Steven Macdonald will be looking for his team to kick on up the table as they look to break into the top half of the standings this time around.
