STRIKER Conor Gethins brought up a century of goals in Nairn County colours and his double in the 5-1 win over Rothes also restored his goal-a-game ratio, writes Graeme Macleod. It was the Irish striker's 101st appearance for the club and his opening goal made it a ton in Nairn colours before he completed his brace in the second half. Gethins brought up his century 16 minutes in when he showed the predatory instincts to smash a dropping ball high and beyond Rothes goalkeeper Ricky Horne from close range. Captain Michael Morrison made it two goals in as many games when he rifled home after venturing forward to lend his physical presence to an attack from a corner kick on 20 minutes. Just eight minutes later, it was three as Robbie Duncanson swept home after fine work down the left by Stuart Leslie. Rothes pulled a goal back on the hour-mark as a result of some Nairn complacency but seven minutes later, Gethins netted his second of the match to restore County's three-goal advantage. Man-of-the-match Leslie had time to get in on the act as he blasted a left-footed effort beyond Horne two minutes from time to make it five for the home side. Departing winger Andy Neill made one final appearance at Station Park and was afforded a warm ovation from the home fans when he came off the bench in the final few minutes. Graeme Macleod
