Nairn County FC are delighted to have entered into a major sponsorship arrangement with Tulloch Homes. The deal will see the building firm become the club's new official training wear partner. New Puma-branded kit emblazoned with the Tulloch Homes logo was distributed to the first team squad and management before pre-season training started in earnest last Saturday morning. Nairn County Director of Football, Graeme Macleod, who brokered the deal on behalf of the club, said: "I have to thank Tulloch Homes for their support and for backing the club in this way." "This is a major deal for the club and it is fantastic that we are able to attract the support of such a prominent and successful local business." "Tulloch Homes has their roots firmly based in Nairn and have a rich history entwined with Nairn County Football Club – Mr Alexander Tulloch served as vice-president of the club at the time of the construction of the existing grandstand at Station Park in 1937, a structure that was built by Tulloch's. Indeed, the late Sandy Tulloch served part of his apprenticeship working on the job." "It adds to the growing stable of prominent local businesses who now support the club in a major way with Ashers Bakery sponsoring our under-15s squad, Ritson Young the backers of our under-17s squad while our under-20s are sponsored by Gordon Timber and of course, our club's main sponsor, Reach Digital Telecoms Highland." "The backing of these businesses and the other 100-or-so who advertise at Station Park is vital to the board's strategy to take the club forward and we would like to warmly welcome Tulloch Homes into the fold. I hope that this is the start of a long and successful partnership between the two parties." George Fraser, Chief Executive of Tulloch Homes, said: "We are delighted to be able to assist Nairn County FC with their new training kit. Given our connection with Nairn and the Tulloch family's connection with the football club, it was an easy decision to make. We wish the club every success in the coming season as it builds on the foundations of last year when a new chapter commenced in the long history of Nairn County FC." Graeme Macleod added: "I also have to thank Martin Ivison and Genesis Sports, Puma's UK retailer, who designed and manufactured the kit for us. They went to a great effort to come up with the final design and the players are all delighted with the results." Graeme Macleod
