We are delighted to announce the arrival of goalkeeper Lewis Munro on loan from Inverness CT.
The 17-year-old has joined us on a temporary deal until the end of the year.
Manager Steven Mackay said: “Lewis was recommended to us due to his impressive performances in the North Caledonian League for league leaders, Loch Ness. His is highly regarded at Inverness CT and has a bright future ahead of him. We are all looking forward to working with him.”
Director of Football, Graeme Macleod, added: “Steven has identified the need to strength our options in the goalkeeping department following Will Counsell’s departure and moved quickly to give us another option.
“Lewis is a highly regarded young goalkeeper at Inverness CT. He has cut his teeth in adult football in the North Caledonian League where we had him watched a couple of times and his parent club now believe he is ready for the step up to the Highland League as the next stage of his development.
“We are delighted to have been trusted by Inverness CT to add Lewis to our squad and I would like thank them for allowing us to contribute to Lewis’s development.”
Lewis has been with Inverness CT since 2015 where he has worked his way through their youth ranks. He has spent time on loan at North Caledonian League side Loch Ness both this season and last.
Lewis goes straight into the squad for tomorrow’s home match against Turriff United.
