THE under-20s’ season kicks off again after a two-month hiatus with a double-header of league and cup action, starting with this weekend’s Jock Mackay Cup match against Lewis & Harris. The tie will be the first time the team has been in action since their North Caledonian Cup tie away at Halkirk United in December and will be played at the Highland Football Academy in Dingwall. The team are back in league action almost immediately after this tie as they have just over 48 hours to prepare themselves for an away derby fixture at Clachnacuddin as the North of Scotland League action resumes on Monday night. Coach Stuart Finnie also must contend with Andrew Colliar, Sam Gordon, Craig McDermott and Struan Tweedie having work commitments while Aaron Fraser and Sandy Main are both also unavailable. Finnie has called up Angus Davidson, Duncan Robertson and Logan Hallam from the club’s under-17s squad for this match.
