Following the re-signing of Stephen Rennie, we are delighted to have secured the future of another of our left-sided players.

Kenny McKenzie has agreed a two-year extension to his contract, ensuring that he will remain with the club until the summer of 2025.

The 30-year-old will clock up a decade of service with us by the end of his new deal, having joined us from Fort William in the summer of 2015.

Kenny is a player who is popular throughout the club both on and off the park and we are sure all the supporters will be delighted to hear that he is staying with us.

Manager Steven Mackay said: “Kenny demonstrated last weekend against Banks O’Dee why he is a valuable member of our squad. He gives us so much energy in the middle of the park as well as the ability to win the ball back and drive the team forward.

“It was great to see him get the goal that his performance deserved on Saturday. Scoring goals is something that we want Kenny to add to his game and we will work with him to develop that.”

The versatile midfielder spent time in the youth ranks at Inverness CT before his studies took him to Glasgow, where he played university and amateur football.

After returning north, Kenny spent the 2014/15 season with Fort William before agreeing a move to us. So far, he has made 181 appearances for the club, scoring a total of nine goals, including the opener in Saturday’s 3-0 win over Banks O’Dee.
