We are delighted to announce that tonight we have secured the services of Kenny McKenzie on an extended contract.

Kenny has agreed to pledge his future to us until the summer of 2023.

The 29-year-old is in his seventh season with us having joined from Fort William in 2015.

Kenny was with Inverness CT and Clachnacuddin as a youngster before moving to Glasgow for University.

He then spent a season at Fort William upon returning north, before making the switch to Station Park. All in, Kenny has made 163 appearances for the club and scored eight times.

Director of Football, Graeme Macleod said:

“We are absolutely delighted that a player of Kenny’s calibre has agreed to extend his stay with us.

“Kenny is capable of playing anywhere on the left-hand side of the team and we are all now very familiar with his marauding runs down the wing, which can help us turn defence into attack very quickly.

“He is now one of the more experienced members of the squad and although he was in and out of the team through injuries at the start of the season, once he took the time out to fully recover in the Autumn, he has looked back to his old self since coming back into team. I do not think it is any coincidence that a fully fit Kenny McKenzie has been in the team when we have picked up some good results in recent matches. “Kenny is one of the most laid back guys I have ever met and nothing seems to faze him. It is these character traits allied to his undoubted ability which makes him such a valued member of our squad.”
