The club can today announce a commercial tie up with maintenance firm, ISS. The deal will see ISS provide assistance with ground maintenance at Station Park as well as supplying the club with a range of materials. Interim chairman Donald Matheson said: "This is further good news for the club and will help us to maintain the condition of Station Park at the level we have all come to expect." "Our Head of Maintenance, Stewart McInnes and his team have been doing great work over the summer months to carry out all of the projects that need to be completed prior to the start of the new season." "The response from the fans to volunteer and help out has also been overwhelming and I know that the guys are a lot further on with their summer work at the ground than they expected to be at this stage." "Although we have a friendly against Inverness CT next week, the amount of work that needed done means that we are working to a completion date of July 30th, when we play our opening game of the Highland League season against Brora Rangers, so there is still a lot of work to do and everyone's help will be much appreciated." He added: "The agreement with ISS only further helps us to meet that target. Not only will they be able to provide the club with supplies but they have also agreed to help us out with their expertise." "John Maclean from ISS was up at Station Park in his own time last night servicing machinery and spraying industrial strength weedkiller on the stones areas and pathways around the ground. John is a big Nairn County fan and comes from a Nairn County family and we are delighted that he has been able to secure assistance from ISS and also give up his own time to help out." "The next maintenance session at the park takes place at 9.30 am on Saturday when preparation work for next Thursday's match will continue in earnest. If anyone can help out for any length of time at all then they will be made more than welcome." ISS is one of the world's largest facility services providers. They provide organisations of all types, shapes and sizes with every facility solution they might require. The company was launched in Denmark in 1901 and expanded into the UK in 1968. Among the services they provide are catering, technical services, cleaning, front of house, landscaping, security and transport. You can find out more at http://www.uk.issworld.com/. Graeme Macleod
