Winger George Robesten has today returned to Ross County with his loan to us being cut short due to injury.
The 18-year-old wide man has not played since the beginning of January because of a hamstring injury and faces a further spell on the sidelines.
Manager Steven Mackay said: “It has been brilliant to have George with us this season and watch him develop and we wish him a speedy recovery from his injury setback.
“He has been a credit to himself throughout his time with us and we look forward to watching his career grow. On behalf of us all at the club, I would like to thank George for his contribution to our season and wish him the very best of luck with his future career.”
George joined us in the summer and made 22 appearances for the club, opening his goal scoring account with a stunning strikes in the home win over Wick Academy before netting in a victory over Forres Mechanics and finding the net in the away success at Wick Academy, to put him on three goals for the season.
The English-born speedster also played a pivotal role in our North of Scotland Cup success, netting in the penalty shootout win over Inverness CT in the semi finals but was ineligible to play in the final against his parent club.
