NAIRN County can today confirm the additions of Kevin Reid, Steven Bain, Donald Graham and Alastair Nicol to the Management Committee. They take up their positions with immediate effect. Interim chairman Donald Matheson said: "I am delighted that we have managed to make these additions to the Committee and they will not be the last." "When I became interim chairman, both the Board of Directors and Management Committee were decimated. One of our first objectives was to identify the right individuals to join the Board or Committee and these appointments are a big step towards achieving that." "It is imperative that we build the correct infrastructure for the club to become a sustainable entity moving forward and bringing these people into the club allows us to put another of the building blocks in place." "One thing these four additions all have in common is that they all have Nairn County Football Club at heart. I know they will bring a host of different qualities to the Management Committee and I look forward to welcoming them and working alongside them." Mr Reid served the club as a director previously and has enjoyed a successful career in the hospitality and major events management sector. Mr Bain stepped down from the Management Committee last year and returns to the club having already worked to bring in sponsorship for Station Park board advertisements. Mr Graham was heavily involved in the Supporters Ground Improvements Fund implementing a range of fresh and innovative fundraising ideas, focussing predominantly on supporter merchandise. Finally, Mr Nicol is a former Nairn County defender and joins the Committee having also played a major role in the Ground Improvements Fund with his tireless efforts organising and running events, most recently arranging the supporters fundraising weekend last week to raise cash for club funds.
