This year we will be collecting gifts for Cash for Kids Mission Christmas.
Over 2000 kids, who currently won’t be waking up to any presents on Christmas Day have already been referred to the Mission Christmas Appeal.
This is more than ever before at this stage of their appeal.
Nairn County will be acting as a drop-off point in Nairn for the appeal and we need your help by donating gifts for these children.
We will be collecting brand new, unopened gifts. These gifts are not to be wrapped.
Cash For Kids are looking to give each child a gift package worth £50-60. The children receiving these gifts will be aged between 0 and 18 years old. You of course are not expected to be donating a present worth that much.
They are looking for gifts for babies and older teenagers in particular.
Gift suggestions:
0-3 years: Books, building blocks, bibs and teething rings
3-5 years: Dolls, cars, scooters and puzzles
5-7 years: Colouring books, jigsaws and arts and craft kits
7-9 years: Footballs, remote control cars and science kits
9-12 years: Scarves, stationery and board games
12-15 years: Hot water bottles, pyjamas and warm clothes
15-18 years: Hairdryers, make-up, headphones and books
We will be accepting donations on the following Saturdays:
Saturday 23rd November: Nairn County v Buckie Thistle
We will accept gifts from 1.30pm until 2.15pm pre-match for anyone that can’t stay for the game.
We will accept collections up until kick-off from any fans going to the game.
Saturday 30th November: Station Park 10am – 12pm
We will be opening the ground for anyone to drop off gifts from 10am – 12pm.
If you are a local business looking to help with the appeal, get in touch and we will be more than happy to arrange a pick-up.
