BRORA Rangers go in search of a seventh consecutive victory with Nairn County making the trip up to Dudgeon Park in what will be the second meeting of the two sides in less than a month. In a reverse fixture at the start of September, Brora eased through to the semi finals of the North of Scotland Cup against a weakened Nairn team with manager Ronnie Sharp taking the opportunity to rotate his squad that night due to the number of fixtures being forced upon his players at this early stage of the season. Sacrificing their place in the cup was ultimately justified as Keith were put to the sword the following Saturday by a rested and refreshed County outfit and it is likely to be a much-changed Nairn eleven which dons the yellow jerseys at Dudgeon Park than appeared in the cup tie. Brora have been hitting top gear again with six wins in a row since their draw at Fraserburgh just over a month ago and having dumped Girvan out of the Scottish Cup with a convincing 5-0 success last weekend, they will be confident of adding another three points to their tally as their pursue Highland League leaders, Cove Rangers. Defender Callum Maclean is still sidelined and is expected to be out for another few weeks yet while club captain Gregg Main is yet to play this season and is currently awaiting the results of the MRI scan of his knee that he received earlier this month. Ryan Macleod has been loaned out to Inverness Athletic for a month and will feature for them in the Football Times Cup tie with Orkney while Calum Riddell remains sidelined through illness. One to watch: Andrew Greig. The livewire forward bagged a hat-trick in Brora's Scottish Cup stroll against Girvan last weekend. He was unlucky not to add to his tally for the season when these two clubs met at Station Park at the beginning of the month after hitting the post twice. Full of trickery, pace and quick feet, he also has an end product to match with his deliveries from wide creating scoring opportunities for his team mates or cutting inside and finding the net himself. The former Inverness CT youngster is a key part of Brora's 4-2-4 attacking setup and keeping him quiet will be a hard task for Nairn. Match officials: Referee Billy Baxter, Assistants Alex McDonald and Paul Reid. Weather forecast: Sunny intervals 15 degrees 12 mph wind. Admission prices: Adults £8 Concessions £5 (two children under the age of 14 are admitted for free if they are accompanied by a paying adult). Graeme Macleod
