THE pinnacle of Martin MacDonald's Testimonial Year will soon be upon us when Aberdeen FC visit Station Park and you can guarantee your place at the big match by purchasing tickets now. Martin and his team mates have been training hard over the last few weeks since returning to pre-season training on June 9th and will step up their preparations for the 2015/16 Highland League campaign with their first pre-season friendly a week today. That is followed by four other matches before the stiffest summer test of the lot – Martin's big match against Aberdeen on Tuesday July 21st (kick-off 8:00 pm). The match represents the final chance for players to impress ahead of the start of the new season the following Saturday and the visitors have promised to bring as strong a team as possible to mark Martin's 10 years of service to the club. Tickets are priced at £10 for adults and £5 for concessions and have been highly sought-after as the Nairn County family seizes the opportunity to pay tribute to one of the club's modern day greats. To ensure that you do not miss out on the big occasion, you can purchase tickets from Strachan’s newsagents, Uncle Bobs Bar, Pat Fraser Electrical, Town Barber (all Nairn High Street), Westerlea Hotel (Inverness Road) and Bridgemill Direct (Forres Road). Although a cash gate will be in operation on the night, supporters are urged to purchase tickets in advance to ease congestion at the turnstiles with one of the biggest crowds in recent years expected to descend on Station Park in honour of the man known simply as Bobo.
