A POLISHED and professional performance saw Nairn County make it four wins out of five in the Highland League so far this season but they were made to work hard in what might have looked a stick-on win for the visitors going into the match at struggling Rothes.
The victory was made on the Emerald Isle with Northern Irish centre half Sean Webb continuing his run of goals in the first half before Irish striker Conor Gethins made sure of the three points with two late goals.
Webb opened the scoring 10 minutes in as the Coalisland Colossus rose highest in the penalty area to power home his third header in as many games.
That was how it remained until Gethins rounded the goalkeeper and rolled the ball home 20 minutes from the end.
The Lifford Livewire rounded off the win six minutes later as he was on hand to knock in Gregg Main's low cross from the right.
