We have re-added Brodie Watson and Chevy Thomson to our squad ahead of tomorrow’s match at Brechin City in the R. Davidson Highland League (Morganti) Cup.
The pair have been out on loan at Inverness Thistle and Nairn St Ninian respectively but will be part of our pool for the trip to the Carnegie Fuels Stadium.
Manager Wayne Mackintosh explained: “We have Fraser Dingwall and Andrew Greig out injured ahead of a very important match but Brodie and Chevy can play in the same positions as them, so we felt it was in our best interests to recall the two of them just for this match.
“At the end of the day, it is a cup quarter final and a chance to reach the semi finals, albeit against one of the toughest teams in the league and we owe it to the club and the fans who are making the effort to travel and support us to go down there with as strong a squad as we can.
“I would like to thank Inverness Thistle and Nairn St Ninian for understanding that and for contributing to the development of these two players throughout their loan spells so far.”
Watson and Thomson have made five and three appearances respectively for us this season and will look to add to that tomorrow.
