THE under-20s start their North of Scotland League campaign with an away tie at Lossiemouth on Monday August 14th. The team's first match at home is a local derby with Clachnacuddin at Station Park on Monday September 25th. Stuart Finnie's side will also enter four cup competitions, the first of which is the Football Times Cup, where the team will now play away to Tain St Duthus despite being drawn at home with the North Caledonian League voting that all cup ties will take place on Saturday dates, rendering Station Park unavailable due to clash with first team home fixtures or a lack of available matchday volunteers when the first team are away from home. The team will also visit Halkirk United on Saturday November 18th in the quarter finals of the North Caledonian Cup and are due to play Lewis & Harris in the first round of the Jock Mackay Cup, on a date still to be confirmed. Finnie's men are also waiting to learn their fate in the Scottish Youth Cup. To prepare for the season, the team will go through their paces in three pre-season friendlies, starting with Inverness Amateur outfit, Bellmac on Monday night at Culloden. Fixtures against Forres Thistle at Roysvale in Forres and amateur team Ferrybache are also in the calendar and having had a fourth match cancelled, the management team are in the process of seeking out another two bounce games.
