We have today secured the services of midfielder Angus Dey on an extended two-year contract.

Hot on the heels of agreeing a new deal with our club captain Fraser Dingwall yesterday, we are delighted to have tied up the future of another key component of our team.

The 28-year-old has excelled in the middle of the park over the last 12 months and has now signed on with us until the end of the 2024/25 season.

Manager Steven Mackay said: “Gus is another player who is getting better and better each week.

“His energy in the middle of the park is key to how we play and he has settled into that role very well. His attitude is outstanding and we are looking forward to working with him for a further two years.”

Dey joined us in 2018 on his return to the area, having played with University of Stirling in the Lowland League for four seasons. The 28-year-old has made 71 appearances for us and scoring six goals.

We are all delighted that Gus has agreed to pledge his future to the club and we look forward to seeing him continue to excel in a Nairn County jersey.
