GOALKEEPER Ryan Macleod has had the remainder of his Nairn County contract cancelled. The 20-year-old stopper has been at the club for just over two years but will now move on to pastures new. Manager Ronnie Sharp said: “Ryan helps to run a team in the Inverness Amateur League and wants to be able to play for them. He has been in and out of our team this season and is coming up to 21 years of age, so is at the stage of his career where he has to be looking to play each week.” Macleod made his debut for Nairn in the 6-4 win at Huntly in November 2016. He has gone on to make 13 starts and two substitute appearances in his time at Station Park, keeping a total of three clean sheets and saving penalties against Turriff United last season and Formartine United three weeks ago.
