NAIRN County will travel to Strathspey Thistle in the opening round of this season's North of Scotland Cup. The tie takes place on Saturday April 22nd. The two clubs have met twice in the league already this season with the Jags edging the head-to-heads having won at Station Park in September before holding County to a 2-2 draw in Grantown four weeks ago. The winners will be at home to either Brora Rangers or North Caledonian League club, Tain St Duthus in the quarter finals of the competition the following weekend. The semi finals take place on Saturday May 6th and the winners of that quarter final tie will host either Halkirk United, Clachnacuddin or Forres Mechanics for the right to progress into this season's final, which is scheduled for Saturday May 20th.
