KEITH HAGGART

We are delighted to announce the appointment of Keith Haggart as our new Head of Commercial.

Keith (pictured left, with Chairman Mark Kelman) takes up the role with immediate effect and brings with him a wealth of experience from previous roles with other clubs across the country.

He will take on responsibility for all commercial aspects of the club such as matchday hospitality, pitchside advertising and other fundraising activities as well as being a regular presence in the boardroom to welcome guests on matchdays.

Mark Kelman said: “It is great news for the club that we have managed to attract someone of Keith’s background and calibre to this role and I am delighted that he has joined us.

“It is a step forward for the club and will help to take the pressure off the small number of hard-working volunteers who run the club and help us out.

“We have thought about taking someone in to fill this role for quite some time and when someone of Keith’s experience and track record became available, it was too good an opportunity to pass up.

“Our aim is to become one of the most commercially successful clubs in the league with Keith’s help and that will assist us both on and off the park.”

He added: “On behalf of the rest of the Management Committee, I would like to welcome Keith to Nairn County and I am really looking forward to working with him.”

Keith’s time in football began in the 2004/05 season and has seen him fill Head of Commercial roles at Dundee United, where he stayed for 10 years, and Dundee in the Scottish Premiership, Forfar Athletic, Brechin City and, most recently, Commercial Director at Inverness CT.

He said: “As soon as I spoke to Mark, I was really interested in the opportunity to join Nairn County. There is a tidy operation in place and I am looking to build on the groundwork that has already been done.

“I am keen to catch up with as many stakeholders, clients and fans as I can over the next few weeks to see what we can do to drive the club forward. I am very much of the view that football is a great vehicle to build partnerships and relationships and to that end, I will be speaking to as many local businesses as I can to see what we at Nairn County can do to help them get their message across.

“I am always ready for a coffee and a conversation, my email address is keith.haggart@nairncountyfc.co.uk if you fancy a chat.”
