Our longest serving player, Glenn Main has extended his contract with us by another year. The new deal with take Glenn into his 19th season as a Nairn County player and keeps him at Station Park to the summer of 2022. The 35-year-old made his debut on May 7th 2003 in a 6-0 home win over Lossiemouth at the age of 17. He made his first start in January the following season away at Cove Rangers before spending two seasons on loan at Nairn St Ninian, who he joined permanently in the summer of 2006. A year later though, he was back at Station Park and made his second debut in a 3-1 home win over Forres Mechanics in the North of Scotland Cup in July 2007. His first goal for the club came in a 2-0 home win over Rothes on March 14th 2009 which he followed up with his first senior hat-trick away at the same opposition in the Highland League (Morganti) Cup just four days later as we progressed with a 5-3 success. He has scored 17 goals in his Nairn County career and made 448 appearances, making him our all-time record appearance holder.
