We are delighted to announce that Callum Maclean has agreed a new contract to extend his stay with the club.

Following on from Tuesday’s win at Clachnacuddin, it is another big boost to the club to have secured one of our key performers in that derby success.

Maclean has been one of our most consistent performers over the years and is now one of the most experienced players in our squad.

The long-serving 31-year-old has been with the club since moving from Fort William in the summer of 2015 and has agreed a new deal which will take him up to a decade of service with us, having put pen to paper on a two-year extension to 2025.

Manager Steven Mackay said: “Callum’s performances have been very consistent since we joined the club and regardless of where we ask him to play, we know he will deliver the same level of consistency and high standards.

“He is a pleasure to work with and his experience is vital to our team. We are delighted to have secured his services moving forward and we are all looking forward to continuing our work with him.”

Callum spent time with Inverness CT as a youngster before a move to Glasgow for university studies saw him play for St Anthony’s and St Cuthbert Wanderers.

After returning north, he spent a season with Fort William before beginning his long association with us, which has seen him appear 168 times for the club and scoring 15 goals.

His versatility has seen him deployed in various positions across the backline for us as well as in centre midfield and we are all delighted that he will be remaining with us for a further two seasons.
