We are proud to unveil a special commemorative home shirt for this season marking the 50th anniversary of our historic 1975/76 Highland League title, the club’s only league triumph to date.
As we prepare for the 2025/26 season, this unique kit honours the past, present and future of Nairn County – a tribute woven through every detail of the design and launch campaign.
The shirt is modelled by figures from all eras of the club: Richie Konczak, the goalkeeper from our title-winning side; Ben Barron, our number nine from today’s squad; and Theo Chemonges-Murzynowski,, representing the future through our thriving Nairn County Community Football programme.

The new shirt, created with deep respect for history, takes heavy inspiration from the kit worn during that brilliant 1975/76 campaign. It was the first year the club transitioned from red to the now-familiar colours we wear with pride. Each shirt carries the names of every squad member from that season, including youth players and the legendary coaching duo Innes MacDonald and George Welsh. A photo of the title-winning squad is printed on the back of the shirt, while the sleeve features a proud reference to our status as Highland League champions.

Speaking about the launch, Club Chairman Kevin Reid said: “This shirt is more than a piece of kit, it’s a connection across generations of Nairn County. From the heroes of 1976 to the stars of today and the future we’re building through our youth system, this anniversary shirt tells a powerful story. We’re excited to give our supporters the chance to wear that story with pride.”
Fans will get the first chance to purchase the shirt this Saturday at Station Park during our home pre-season friendly against Arbroath Victoria. The team will also be playing in the new shirt.
The shirt will then be available to buy online from our official club shop starting Monday at 9am, and in-store from The Town Barbers on Nairn High Street later next week.
Celebrate our greatest triumph and wear the history.
