We are delighted to announce a new deal for influential centre-half, Millar Gamble.
The 23-year-old has signed an extension to his current contract to keep him with us until the Summer of 2028.
Since joining from Brora Rangers just over a year ago, Millar has been a regular in the team, so Manager Wayne Mackintosh was pleased to tie down one of his key players for a long term stay.
The boss said: “Millar has played every game he has been fit and available for since I took over, so it goes without saying that we are all chuffed he has agreed to commit his future to the club.
“Keeping players like Millar at the club is really important to our plans moving forward. He already has a lot of good experience in the league from the trophies he has won in the past and he is a leader in the dressing room even though he still has the best years of his career ahead of him.
“There is still more to come from Millar over the coming seasons and myself and the Coaching Staff are delighted to get the opportunity to continue to work with him. His attitude and commitment towards training and games is excellent and securing his services for the next few years is a huge boost to the club.”
Millar came through the youth ranks at Inverness CT, playing for the Scotland Schoolboys in the 2020 Centenary Shield while at the Caledonian Stadium. He moved to Brora Rangers the same year, playing in the Cattachs’ Scottish Cup win over Heart of Midlothian and winning the Highland League championship, two Highland League (Morganti) Cups and two North of Scotland Cups in his time at Dudgeon Park, before joining us in December 2024. He has made 23 appearances in his time at the club and scored his first goal for us in the 3-1 win at Lossiemouth in November.
