We are delighted to strengthen our Management Committee by bringing on board Michael Bochel. Michael, 36, is a lifelong supporter of the club who grew up in Nairn and graduated from Glasgow Caledonian University with a degree in Marketing. Michael has worked with digital marketing agencies in Scotland and Australia before fulfilling the Head of Digital role at the Scottish FA. He has recently taken on the position of Head of Marketing with itison.com and will assist the club with its future marketing strategy. Michael said: “I am excited to be able to help the club on a more regular basis. Nairn is a special club and I hope to help improve what we do off the pitch as much as I can. “I am looking forward to meeting everyone involved at the club over the coming weeks and helping to build on the great strides which have been taken at Station Park over the last few years.” Chairman Donald Matheson said: “I am delighted that Michael has agreed to join us. “We have known of Michael’s skills and abilities for a number of years through his fantastic work with the Scottish FA but the potential conflict of interest caused with him being employed by the Association prevented him from joining us in the past. “As soon as we had heard that Michael had taken up a new challenge, we approached him with a view to joining our Management Committee and I am really happy that he accepted. “Michael already has some fantastic ideas of how we can move the club forward and I am excited to be working alongside him.”
