CRAIG Munro, Matty Macleod and Reece Barton all debuted for Nairn St Ninian in their shock win at Montrose Roselea yesterday. All three youngsters moved to the Showfield on loan at the start of the week and Munro came straight into Mike Hendry's starting eleven at left back with Macleod coming on as substitute midway through the second half and Barton deployed to helped see out an impressive 3-1 victory. Charlie Fonweban opened the scoring for St Ninian in the first half and after Montrose equalised before the break, Sam Walker re-established the visitors' lead after the restart before Simon Hill struck to ensure all three points would be heading back to Nairn. The result was Montrose's first in the league with only their Grill Cup semi-final reverse to Banks O'Dee the only other time they have tasted defeat after switching to the North Region in the summer. Saints sit third on Division One West, six points behind leaders Spey Valley United and three adrift of Forres Thistle, who they welcome to the Showfield next weekend. Graeme Macleod
