THE first ever Nairn County Legends v Supporters match raised almost £1300 on Saturday. The match at the Riverside ended in a comfortable 12-0 win for the Legends with Marc MacDonald, Steven Sanderson (3), Scott Kellacher (4), team captain Mark Holmes (3) and David Kennedy among the goals. The other former players in the Legends team were John Seaton, Ronnie Sharp, Gary Farquhar and Michael Sanderson. A Nairn County top signed by the Legends team raised £160 in an auction at Uncle Bobs Bar after the match while a top signed by the current squad realised £150. This was all added to the pot along the entry fee for a club-themed quiz which Legends and supporters also participated in at Uncle Bobs after the match. Graeme Macleod
