Ken Loades has been appointed as Vice Chairman of the club.

This follows Ian Finlayson’s decision to step back from his role of Vice Chairman to concentrate on his role of Club Secretary following a change in his day job.

Ken joined the Management Committee in January 2022 and has been instrumental in bringing new partners to the club as well as organising our Sporting Dinner this year and was nominated for the role by Ian himself.

Ken Loades said “With Ian stepping back from his role as Vice Chairman, I certainly have some big shoes to fill. Since joining the committee at the end of lock down, I have well and truly been bitten by the Nairn County bug. In my eyes the club is an integral part of the wider Nairn community and I look forward to the challenge of not only strengthening the club but also our ties to the community.

As a committee we are ambitious and it will be my honour to help steer the club towards realising those ambitions.

With the season less than eight weeks away, we will be working hard in the background to give the playing squad every opportunity to compete.

There are some great sponsorship opportunities available around the club, so I would like to encourage anyone who would like to engage with the club to reach out on any of our social media channels or to me directly.”

You can also email the club on info@nairncountyfc.co.uk.

Alexander Mackintosh remains as our other Vice Chairman.
