WE are on the road tomorrow making the trip east to face Keith. All you need to know ahead of the clash with the Maroons is below. Date: Saturday September 5th 2015 Competition: Scottish Highland League Kick off: 3.00 pm Opponents: Keith Manager: Gordon Winton Venue: Kynoch Park, Keith Previous meeting: Keith 1 Nairn County 3 April 11th 2015 Last time out: Clachnacuddin 3 Keith 4; Nairn County 1 Buckie Thistle 2 League positions: Keith 9th Nairn County 5th Form guides: Keith WLLLLW Nairn County LWWWW L Team news: As many as EIGHT members of the first team squad will miss this one. Sean Webb, Alan Pollock and Kenny McKenzie are all unavailable and Michael Morrison is a major doubt having sustained a calf injury during the first half of last weekend’s match, which meant he had to be replaced at half time. Martin MacDonald is only participating in light training as he recovers from a knee injury and will not feature while Tony Wallace is also ruled out with a similar injury, which he is due to have a scan on next week. Wayne Mackintosh has taken part in full training this week and may be a part of the match day squad having been sidelined long term with a troublesome groin. Meanwhile, Andrew Hardwick continues his loan spell at Fort William but the club are working to complete the appropriate paperwork in time to recall fellow loanee Paul Macleod from Strathspey Thistle to feature in this one. One to watch: Kris Duncan. The striker moved to Keith in the summer and has played a big part in the Maroons’ improvement so far this season. The livewire attacker burst on to the Highland League scene with an impressive spell at Rothes, which earned him a big move to Deveronvale. It was on to Forres Mechanics after that before Gordon Winton took him to Kynoch Park during the close season to link up with the experienced Michael Ewen in attack. He is capable of causing the County defence problems and netted a memorable strike at Clachnacuddin last weekend. Match officials: Referee Ben Dempster; Assistants Ewan Jarvie and Sean Thomson Weather forecast: Sunny intervals 10 degrees 16 mph wind Admission prices: Adults £8 Children / OAPs £5 (two children under the age 14 are admitted for free if they are accompanied by a paying adult).
