CLOSE season maintenance started at Station Park yesterday with products supplied by Green's Nurseries. Club chairman Donald Matheson was delighted to be able to extend the relationship between the club and Green's. He said: "We have to thank Donald Green and Green's Nurseries for their support of the club. Without it, we would not be able to carry out the programme of close-season work on the playing surface that commenced yesterday. "We were able to collect a pallet-load of products from Green's and with help from Gordon's Sawmill and one of their forklifts, unload it at Station Park on Friday afternoon. "We then cracked on with working on the park from 9.30 am until about 1.00 pm on Saturday where we were joined by 15 volunteers. I would also like to personally thank them for giving up their time to come along and assist us. "We continue the work on Tuesday evening at 6.00 pm and anyone is welcome to join us at any time after 6.00 pm until about 9.00 pm. "I would like to wish Green's Nurseries continued success and I look forward to their relationship with Nairn County going from strength to strength." Green's Nurseries are located in the A939 Nairn to Grantown road approximately five miles south of Nairn. They are open 9.00 and until 5.00 pm Monday to Saturday and 10.00 am until 4.30 pm on Sunday.
