We have been informed by Brora Rangers that they have activated the recall clause in Gary Pullen’s loan deal, meaning the midfielder will return to his parent club immediately.

The 21-year-old goes back to Dudgeon Park after spending the past four-and-a-half months of the season with us.

Manager Wayne Mackintosh was disappointed to lose player who had become an important part of his team. He said: “Gary has done well for us since coming in and seems to have enjoyed his time here. As his parent club, Brora have the right to call him back at any time as part of the terms of the deal, so we understand them activating this clause.

“We would like to thank Gary for his time with us and hope that he feels he has benefited from being involved with our squad. We wish him all the best for the future and would also like to thank Steven Mackay and Brora Rangers for allowing Gary to join us on loan in the first place.”

Gary joined us in mid-September and made his debut in the 3-0 home win over Turriff United. In all, he made 13 appearances for the club and scored four goals.

Meanwhile, Brodie Watson and Chevy Thomson have been recalled from their loans at Rothes and Nairn St Ninian respectively and Kenny MacInnes has had his loan spell to Nairn St Ninian extended.
