Some months ago we received a request, via our e-mail, from a Juan Carlos Ross who was seeking some family relations in Nairn. It transpires that Juan's father Ian Charles Ross originally came from Nairn and after the Second World war emigrated initially to Brazil then onto Argentina to find work. We carried out some research through the Club's records and could not fully identify anyone. However Ian Bain (Telegraph) had more success. He contacted Sandra E. Ross to see if she could throw any light on the cause. It turn out that Sandra's father and Juan Carlos's father were brothers! A very happy re-union has just taken place and both visited Station Park on Thursday 10th Oct for a grand tour and meet the Chairman. Juan was presented with a team pennant and badge to mark the occasion. You may note the Juan, who now lives in Madrid, is named (in Spanish) after his father. This did not apply, of course to his surname. A real happy outcome and the number of Nairn County's supporters has just increased by another one!
