We are delighted to announce that Paul Brindle has extended his contract with us by another season.

The striker is now contracted to the club until the end of the 2026/27 season.

Brindle joined us in the close season, becoming Manager Wayne Mackintosh’s first new signing in the job. And now he has secured the future of one of the most decorated and experienced players in his dressing room.

The boss said: “Keeping Paul at the club is a major boost for us. He has been a big asset to the team since joining in the Summer, so we are all delighted that he has agreed a new contract.

“Paul brings a lot of experience and ability to the table. When he came here, he felt he had a point to prove and we have benefitted from that through his performances this season.

“He injured his shoulder in pre-season, so it was a bit of a false start for him and we had to get him up to speed but we are now starting to see him at his best. I think he has enjoyed his time at the club so far after being with a few different clubs over the last three or four seasons and it is great for us moving into next season to have him signed up again. Myself and the Coaching Staff are all looking forward to working with him for another season.”

Paul made his Highland League debut for us as a trialist in May 2011 before making his mark at this level when he signed for Clachnacuddin from Muir of Ord Rovers that Summer.

He won the Highland League (Morganti) Cup in 2014 during a four-year stint with the Grant Street club, before earning a move to Brora Rangers in 2015, where he won two Highland League championships, three North of Scotland Cups and one Highland League (Morganti) Cup, scoring in the penalty shootout against us in the final.

He then spent the 2021/22 season at Forres Mechanics, the following campaign at Clachnacuddin and then re-joined Brora Rangers in 2023, winning the Highland League (Morganti) Cup again during his second spell at Dudgeon Park.

A season with Strathspey Thistle followed before the 33-year-old linked up with us last June, making 19 appearances so far this season and scoring six goals.
