Nairn County has presented a brand new set of strips to the Auldearn Primary School P4/5s team. The kit was handed over by Head of Youth Development, Gillian McWilliam and Assistant Treasurer, Shona Devine at a recent primary schools football tournament in the village. Gillian McWilliam said: "It was great to see so many boys and girls enjoying themselves and encouraging to see so many parents there helping out and supporting the children. "Many of these children are the players of the future and Auldearn Primary School have always produced some of our best Nairn County youth players so as a club, we do benefit and will continue to do so in the future. "It was also encouraging to see a newly-formed team from Cawdor Primary School there too. "The key though for future generations is for parents to become involved because without volunteers in sport nothing would happen and the children will miss out." Graeme Macleod
