This evening we can confirm that Adam Porritt has left the club.

The 28-year-old ends a five-and-a-half year stay at Station Park.

Manager Steven Mackay explained: “Adam has a young family, which need his time and support and we felt it was better for him leave the football club and focus on them 100% without any distractions.

“Adam leaves with our best wishes and I hope to see him back playing football sometime in the future.”

Porritt joined us from Fort William in 2017. He made 138 appearances for the club and scored eight goals.

He started out his career with Ross County before spending two years at Brora Rangers, where he won the Highland League championship. He moved on to Fort William in January 2016 before joining us a year-and-a-half later.

Adam leaves the club with the best wishes of us all at Station Park.
