THE under-20s play in the North Caledonian Cup for the very first time as they make the trip north to Morrison Park and an away quarter final tie with Halkirk United.
Stuart Finnie and Brian Taylor's side were unfortunate not to take anything out of their last North of Scotland League fixture away at Elgin City as they lost out by the odd goal in seven and now prepare to enter their second North Caledonian competition of the season having been narrowly edged out by Tain St Duthus in the Football Times Cup.
The home side were involved in an incredible league match at home against Alness United last weekend where they trailed by six goals to nil in the second half before rallying to pull the score back to 5-6 before almost completing what would have been a remarkable comeback late on. They will take confidence from that fight back as they look to book a place in the semi-finals with the winners of this tie due to be away to either Bunillidh Thistle or St Duthus.
