The NCFC Fans Fund was launched on Friday and it has received a ringing endorsement from centre half, Martin MacDonald.
"Bobo" was at Station Park on Saturday morning as he volunteered to muck in with maintenance work and help launch the new fundraising scheme.
The defender said: "Obviously it has been a tough few weeks for everyone at the club but you have seen the way the fans and the businesses are rallying round. It has been great and shows you what the club means to everyone in Nairn.
"You just have to look at the numbers here with the guys willing to give up their free time on a Saturday to help keep the park in good condition. I was more than happy to pop through and lend a hand for a few hours."
The NCFC Fans Fund allows supporters to subscribe to making a donation of at least £10 per month to the club through a Standing Order.
MacDonald added: "It is a great idea and I am sure it will be a real success. The Nairn fans have shown time and time again what they are all about when it comes to raising money and there is no doubt that they will step up to the plate again."
"If we can get 100 fans to subscribe to paying £10 a month, that will give the club an extra £12,000 per year and that could make the difference between bringing in a couple of new players or keeping a few of our better players to help us remain as competitive in the league as we have been over the last few seasons."
"I do not think that is an unrealistic target and I would urge anyone who is thinking of subscribing to get signed up as quickly as they can, as long as it is within their means. We all want to see Nairn County continue to prosper."
Former County manager Les Fridge brought MacDonald back to the club in 2005 and granted him his testimonial year last season.
The centre half said: "Everyone in the squad has been sad to see Les go and also Peter and Michael Mackintosh and the Chairman (Peter Mackintosh Snr) as well. They were great to me when I was here and I would like to thank them all for everything that they did for me over the last 11 years."
"Football moves on though and we, as players, have to be focussed on returning to pre-season training ready to begin our preparations for the new season. That is all we can think about because what is going on behind the scenes is in the control of the Board of Directors and I am sure they are doing everything they can to stabilise things."
MacDonald missed the majority of last season because of a knee injury but is ready to return to action when the squad reports for pre-season training on Thursday June 16th.
He said: "I am ready to go again and I just hope that is the last of my knee troubles. Having not played for almost a year, I am raring to go with the new season and I will be fully committed to the club until I am told I am not wanted."
