Nairn County Football Club can confirm that - with the agreement of the Logan family - a plaque will be erected in the new enclosure in memory of centenary book co-author, Bill Logan.
Chairman Peter Mackintosh said: "Bill sadly passed away in October and it is a great tragedy that he did not get to see all of his hard work come to fruition when the new enclosure was first used earlier this month."
"Bill was at the forefront of the Supporters' fundraising campaign, which has financially backed ground improvements at Station Park over the last few years, taking part in endeavours from assisting at coffee mornings to walking the West Highland Way and co-writing The History of Nairn County FC: 100 Years in the Highland League, the sales of which made a significant contribution to the total funds raised by the supporters. And who can forget the memorable Centenary Exhibition at Nairn Museum that Bill worked so tirelessly to put together at his own free will for us all to enjoy."
"The plaque will be placed at the position where Bill could be found standing at home fixtures and everyone at Nairn County Football Club feels that this is a fitting way to remember a great man."
The club will inform supporters when the plaque is in place.
