RECALLED Ross Naismith headed Nairn County on their way to three points at Harmsworth Park, writes Graeme Macleod.
The attacking midfielder came in from the cold to strike the winner 13 minutes from time as Nairn immediately bounced back from their derby disappointed to dump hosts Wick Academy.
With the first half appearing as if it was going to finish goalless, Craig Shearer's long range thunderbolt put the home side in front just before the interval.
Nairn's task looked ominous in the second half as they played up the Harmsworth slope.
However, a foul on Stuart Leslie inside the box on 72 minutes gave Michael Morrison the opportunity to level from the penalty spot. The skipper made no mistake as he 'gave the goalkeeper the eyes' before stroking the ball in the opposite corner.
Then, five minutes later, Ross Naismith stooped to meet Daniel Moore's pinpoint cross from the right to head Nairn in front and secure all three points.
