Nairn came out of the starting blocks at high speed and dominated the start of the game.

Within 7 minutes the first goal came from non other than Conor Gethins who with a fine individual effort lobbed the ball over Lossie keeper Errol Watson.

As the game progressed Nairn's John Cameron went close with a terrific shot followed by Andy Neill with a header blocked by Lossie's keeper.

In the 63rd minute a well worked free kick resulted in, new signing, Daniel Moore scoring a cracking goal from a low hard hit shot, which the keeper had no chance of saving.

Nairn dominated the game but Lossie worked hard to get back into it and succeeded in getting a goal close to the end from an angled strike from Willie Mathers.

Some sloppy passing mainly by Nairn defence made the last quarter of the game nail biting for supporters and management alike.

After the game manager Les said 'We scored an early goal and controlled the game or long periods and after going up 2-0 should have put it beyond Lossie. When they got their lifeline goal they threw everything at us making the last 10 minutes a nervy time'.
