A QUICKFIRE blitz in the final 15 minutes of the first half secured Nairn County all three points at Huntly, writes Graeme Macleod.

The hosts had made the more lively start to proceedings but once Robbie Duncanson played Sam Urquhart through on goal to open the scoring on 31 minutes the visitors never looked back.

Duncanson provided a second assist - this time for Conor Gethins - just a few minutes later and the Irish striker rounded the goalkeeper before rolling the ball into the net.

Duncanson then grabbed the best goal of the lot four minutes before the interval with a left-footed strike from 22 yards that flew into the top corner.

Huntly grabbed a late consolation when David Booth bundled the ball home from close range during a second half where Nairn were rarely threatened and were able to comfortably cruise towards another three points.
