THREE first half goals eased Nairn County to a second win in a week as they added to Wednesday night's success over Rothes by recording a victory at Fort William with the combined score of the two matches adding up to 10-2 in County's favour.
County broke the deadlock when Robbie Duncanson's in-swinging free kick from the left evaded everyone and bounced in at the far post.
It was two shortly afterwards with Martin MacDonald scoring his first goal of the season when he reacted quickly as the ball dropped to him in the box and clipped the ball beyond the Fort William goalkeeper.
The hosts pulled a goal back through Gordon McCarroll but shortly afterwards, Sam Urquhart's deflected effort drifted over the head of the goalkeeper to restore County's two-goal advantage.
Nairn welcome table toppers Wick Academy to Station Park on Wednesday night. Kick off is at 8.00 pm.
