ARCHIE Macphee's second half strike secured all three points for Nairn County in their final match of the season, writes Graeme Macleod. The win at Formartine United was enough to secure a third place finish in the league.

The hosts took the lead on 33 minutes through Cammy Keith but Nairn struck back almost immediate as Conor Gethins netted his 41st goal of the season on 35 minutes.

Neil McVitie then saw red for Formartine a minute later to hand the impetus to Nairn and they took advantage of having the extra man to secure all three points in the second half.

MacPhee's low drive from the edge of the box squirmed through Formartine goalkeeper Andy Shearer and into the net on 57 minutes to earn Nairn a 2-1 victory.
