A SECOND clash with junior opposition in less than 48 hours rounds off County's pre-season preparations as Nairn look to put the finishing touches to their build-up to the start of the 2017/18 campaign.

Ronnie Sharp took the opportunity to rest several players at St Ninian on Thursday night with an unfamiliar looking line-up conjuring up a first victory and clean sheet of the summer with a 3-0 success at the Showfield after a tough clash with the hard-working hosts.

Sharp's line-up may have a more familiar feel to it but the performances of some of his players who were playing from the start for the first time this summer may have caught the manager's eye and given him food for thought as he looks to find his strongest starting eleven ahead of the big kick-off.

Live matchday coverage will be available from Nicol Togneri Park on facebook.com/nairncountyfc and @NairnCounty on Twitter with team lines before kick-off, updates on all of the incidents of note as the match progresses, a report after the final whistle and the views of manager Ronnie Sharp later in the evening. Team news: Ronnie Sharp will be hoping to call on one or two more familiar faces for this weekend's final friendly of the summer at New Elgin with Callum Maclean, Kenny McKenzie and Gary Kerr both potentially available again. Adam Porritt ended last season late due to his former club Fort William's run to the North of Scotland Cup final and therefore had a shortened summer break, so could be rested again having sat out Thursday evening's trip to Nairn St Ninian. Calum Riddell gets married and Glenn Main and Gregg Main are there as guests, so will also be unavailable while Jason Morganti and Stephen Mackenzie are out at present due to work commitments. Sharp is also looking to include potentially two trialists in his squad for this one.

Weather forecast: Sunny intervals 18 degrees 12 mph wind.
