FORRES Mechanics arrive at Station Park bang in form for tomorrow's derby match as they look to make it five wins on the spin by taking the spoils from this meeting with a Nairn County side which has lost their last three.
The latest defeat for Ronnie Sharp's men came on a disappointing night in midweek with Huntly proving to be more clinical in front of goal as they picked up a 5-2 victory in a match where the number of chances created by each side was a lot more even than the score line suggests.
But County's inability to keep the ball out at one end and failure to capitalise on their chances at the other proved costly again and if the same traits are on display here then the visitors will be optimistic about taking all three points from what is the reverse fixture of the opening day meeting between these two clubs three-and-a-half months ago.
The home side have had just two days to pick themselves up and formulate a game plan ahead of this local derby as they look for a performance that is meaner at the back and more ruthless in the final third of the park to thwart a Forres side which goes into the match knowing that three points could take them to within touching distance of a place in the top six.

Team news: The home side are hoping that Kenny McKenzie and Ryan MacDonald will be able to declare themselves fit to participate in this match but both players face a sweat having missed the midweek match against Huntly through injuries. Jordan MacRae played through an Achilles injury sustained in the warm-up prior to that match and he is another who is touch-and-go to feature at the weekend. Definitely still out are the injured Callum Maclean and Gregg Main with Ewen Urquhart unavailable while Ryan Macleod and Craig Munro are on loan to Inverness Athletic.
One to watch: Andy Macrae. The lively forward is back with Forres Mechanics for a second loan spell after a successful short term stint at Mosset Park last season. He impressed during his original stay with the Can Cans, scoring a number of important goals for Charlie Rowley's men as well as finding the net when these two sides met at Mosset Park in March. He is up and running again for his loan club having headed home in the away win at Clachnacuddin.
